About this platform
When a flood, landslide or earthquake separates people from their families, information about who is missing ends up scattered — a Facebook post here, a message group there, a phone call to a relative in another district. It is hard to search, easy to lose, and quickly out of date.
This platform gathers that information into one place that anyone can search, without an account and without asking permission. Families can add what they know. Anyone looking for someone can look through what has been reported.
What this platform is not

- This platform is not an official emergency service and is not run by any government authority.
- Every report here is submitted by a member of the public. We do not independently verify every report.
- Information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate, even when a report is marked as verified.
- If someone is in immediate danger, contact the police, your local ward office, or emergency services directly.
What each status means
A status describes how much checking has happened — nothing more. Even a verified report can contain details that are incomplete or out of date.

Privacy
People who sign in to submit a report do so with a Google account. The email address on that account is never shown on a public report — only the contact name and phone number a reporter chooses to publish.

This platform is an initiative of the National Innovation Centre Nepal. That says who built it and who maintains it. It does not make the platform an official service, and it does not mean that individual reports here have been checked by the NIC Nepal or by any government authority — each report is entered by a member of the public.
